	Teams at this year's FIVB Beach Volleyball U-21 World Championships, which are presented by Swatch, have no excuse for being apathetic when the tournament returns to its spiritual homeland this year. After France's success of hosting the inaugural Junior World Championship in 2001 the inspirational seaside town of Saint-Quay-Portrieux on the north coast of France in Bretagne is the proud host this year. The volleyball youth of today will be greeted with sparkling seas lapping at the feet of a rugged, yet beautiful coast line, which has attracted many over the past two centuries for its therapeutic qualities. In fact in the early 19th century the town was built upon a reputation of a sea that could heal and a combination of a bristle-fresh air and pure coast line providing a haven of good health for all. These characteristics will influence play with the 2000-seat stadium sitting only metres from the supple seas of the English Channel on Plage du Casino. A fantastic stage and with Saint-Quay-Portrieux's mid-20 degree summer temperatures the crisp and natural surroundings impress all that is good in sport and life. The U21 World Championship competitors are model recipients.
