Las Vegas, USA and Chetumal, Mexico to host new World Tour events in October
The United States and Mexico will host new events on the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour in 2018-2019.

As the current season enters the final stretch ahead of the Beach Volleyball FIVB World Tour Finals in Hamburg, Germany from August 15-19, the list of events in the first part of the 2018-2019 season also includes stops in Siofok in Hungary, Montpellier in France, Zhongwei, Qinzhou and Yangzhou in China, and Bandar Torkaman, Babolsar and Bandar Anzali in Iran.

Montpellier, France, August 28-September 1, Double gender, 1 star
Zhongwei, China, September 13-16, Single gender - Women, 2 star
Qinzhou, China, September 30-October 4, Double gender, 3 star
Bandar Torkaman, Iran, October 2-5, Single gender - Men, 1 star
Baboslar, Iran, October 9-12, Single gender - Men, 1 star
Yangzhou, China, October 10-14, Double gender, 4 star
Bandar Anzali, Iran, October 16-19, Single gender - Men, 1 star
Las Vegas, United States, October 17-21, Double gender, 4 star
The FIVB New Events Business Department continues to work with promoters to organise additional events in the period from January to August 2019 and to provide players with new opportunities to compete. The full calendar of events for 2018-2019 will be announced at the next World Tour Council on September 18. An additional European event (November 30 to December 2) may also be added to the calendar at a later date. The new stop in Chetumal, Mexico in October is also set to become a double gender event in 2019-2020.
