Mol/Ringoen, Sorum/Mol lead way for Norwegian teams into Oslo quarterfinals
Mol and Ringoen capped the day in Oslo with a 2-0 (21-17, 23-21) victory over Youth Olympic Games gold medallists David Ahman and Jonatan Hellvig of Sweden in Pool A.
After playing a three-set match in the first round of pool play, Christian Sorum and Markus Mol came through an easier match with Denmark’s Morten Overgaard and Martin Trans Hansen in straight sets (21-17, 23-21) in Pool B.

In the other matches, Hendrik Mol and Mathias Berntsen wrapped up their match against Svein Oddmund Solhaug and Jonas Tomter in 33 minutes to win Pool C with a 2-0 (21-16, 21-15) triumph.
And then Daniel Bergerud and Lars Tveit Retterholt topped Pool D with a straight-set (21-15, 21-18) victory over Denmark’s Mads Rosager and Jacob Stein Brinck.
