Indoor volleyball and beach volleyball have become two of the most watched sports on the Olympic programme. The FIVB is confident snow volleyball can have great success, continuing to grow in popularity.

"It was great to be with the CEV Board of Administration and hear their thoughts on the growth of volleyball throughout Europe," President Graça said.
"The FIVB also has many ideas and initiatives and it is encouraging that our vision for the future of our sport is aligned. This is not just for our traditional disciplines but also in snow volleyball, where we see a great deal of promise."
Following the drawing of lots for the group stages of the 2018 CEV Volleyball Champions League, President Graça attended the 2017 European Volleyball Gala, held at the Ritz-Carlton in Moscow. The gala celebrated volleyball’s world class athletes, coaches and officials from across Europe, as well as reliving the most memorable performances from the last year.
President Graça and CEV President Aleksandar Boricic honoured former Italian Volleyball Federation President Carlo Magri with the lifetime achievement award. Magri, who had been President since 1995, ended his 22-year service in February this year.

"Carlo Magri has been a fantastic servant to the CEV, the FIVB and the entire Volleyball Family," President Graça said. "Without this example of dedication and passion for the sport, volleyball would not have grown into the sport it is today."
