Snow Volleyball World Tour site launched


The FIVB launches the dedicated Snow Volleyball World Tour website, ahead of the start of the event, later this month.

Lausanne, Switzerland, March 19, 2019 - With the 2019 FIVB Snow Volleyball World Tour set to begin at the end of the month, the FIVB launches today the dedicated section on the website where fans and participants alike can follow the stars of the tour and get all the details of each competition.

The 2019 FIVB Snow Volleyball World Tour begins in Wagrain-Kleinarl, Austria, 28-31 March, before moving on to Plan de Corones / Kronplatz, Italy, 4-7 April and crossing the Atlantic for another event during the southern hemisphere winter in Bariloche, Argentina, 1-4 August.

The European events in Austria and Italy are being co-hosted by the FIVB and the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV).

The website will include all entry lists, plus full schedules, results, match centres, rankings, photo galleries and stories on each event of the Tour.

In accordance with the 2018-2020 Snow Volleyball Rules, teams will feature three players plus one player for substitutions and each match will be played to a standard best of three sets, 15 points and a two-point lead. The dimensions of the court remain unchanged, measuring 16x8 metres with a free zone of at least two metres.
