Strong FIVB representation on IOC Commissions as composition for 2018 revealed
FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Graça F° has been reappointed to the IOC’s Marketing Commission
The FIVB President has been reappointed to the IOC’s Marketing Commission. The Commission provides guidance, perspective and ideas in the area of Olympic marketing which will assist the IOC to continue to generate, enable and grow long-term revenue streams for the Olympic Movement.
IOC Member and FIVB Executive Vice-President Habu Ahmed Gumel will sit on the Coordination Commission for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, as well as the Olympic Channel Commission, which provides guidance throughout the launch and operation of the Olympic Channel.
FIVB Executive Vice-President Rita Subowo and former Cuban volleyball player, Yumilka Ruíz Luaces, were both reappointed to the Sport and Active Society Commission. The Commission advises on all the activities of the Olympic Movement that are related to using sport to improve physical activity in the population, giving access to sport as a right for all, and on engaging in sports activities with a special focus on youth.
FIVB Executive Vice-President, Bouchra Hajij, was reappointed to the Culture and Olympic Heritage Commission, which advises on all the activities of the Olympic Movement that are related to culture with a view to promoting the Olympic ideals as widely as possible, especially among young people all over the world.
