CAVB President Elwani signs African Club Championship agreements


Cairo, Egypt, January 1, 2017- African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) President Dr. Amr Elwani signed agreements with the organisers of the 2017 African Club Championships on Sunday.

The championships will take place in Tunis and Kelibia, Tunisia. The men's event is scheduled for March, while the women will compete in April.

The agreements were signed by CAVB President Elwani in the presence of CAVB Vice President Mounir Ben Slimane, Tunisian Volleyball Federation President Feras El Faleh, Esperance and Carthage representatives Farouk Kato and Khalid Ben Omar.
The agreements follow on from from the CAVB's new sponsoring regulations.

The African Club Championships attract a high number of participants in both genders and featured 24 clubs in the last edition of the men's competition in Cairo and Souse and 18 clubs in the women's competition in Carthage.
