Day two of Women’s World Olympic Qualification Tournament: Serbia, Korea, Japan remain unbeaten

Tokyo, Japan, May 18, 2008 – The Women’s World Olympic Qualification Tournament entered its second day with four matches in Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium on Sunday. Host Japan, Korea and Serbia remained unbeaten, posted their second victory. Poland overpowered Kazakhstan to clinch its first win after beaten by Japan in the first match while Kazakhstan and Thailand suffered their second consecutive defeat, making their bid to take a ticket to Beijing Olympic Games more difficult.
