UPCN San Juan emerged as Argentina’s men’s champions for the 10th time in the club’s history. Last Monday, April 13, they closed the best-of-five final series against Ciudad Voley Buenos Aires at 3-1 in wins. In the last match, they mastered a 3-0 (25-19, 31-29, 25-21) sweep at home to secure the title. The bronze went to Monteros Voley. UPCN’s 36-year-old outside hitter Alejandro Toro was named Most Valuable Player (MVP).
AZERBAIJAN
Xilasedici Baku celebrated their first ever national title in Azerbaijan. In Saturday’s final in Baku, they achieved a 3-1 (24-26, 25-16, 27-25, 25-21) win over ORDU Baku. The third-place match and the bronze medals were won by Neftchi Baku. The MVP nomination was earned by Xilasedici’s 27-year-old Cuban opposite Luis Reyes Rodriguez.
BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA
Defending champions Napredak Odzak collected their fourth men’s national title in Bosnia & Herzegovina after winning both matches of the best-of-three final series against Kakanj 78. In the second game on Saturday, Napredak put together a 3-1 (25-20, 25-21, 24-26, 25-16) road victory. The team of Bosna Sarajevo picked up the bronze.
ESTONIA
Parnu picked up the national title of Estonia for the ninth time in the club’s history. They brought home the best-of-seven championship playoff against Bigbank Tartu by 4-1 in wins. In front of about 1,700 fans at home on Sunday, Parnu put together a 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-21) sweep. Selver/TalTech Tallinn grabbed the bronze.
LUXEMBOURG
For the sixth consecutive time, Stroossen Strassen rejoiced as national men’s champions of Luxembourg. They earned their 20th title after winning both matches of the best-of-three final series against Lorentzweiler. On Saturday, Stroossen closed the championship playoff with a 3-1 (25-20, 18-25, 25-16-25-19) away victory. Volley Bartreng Bertrange won the bronze medals.

NORWAY
The final-four event in Norway’s volleyball league was held on Friday and Saturday in Forde. In Saturday’s final showdown, Tromso brought home the title with a 3-1 (18-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-16) victory over hosts Forde. It was the sixth national crown for the club, but the first in 19 years. Koll Oslo battled it out for bronze to complete the podium.

Criss Cross King Crunchers Manila took their first Spikers’ Turf Open Conference crown in the Philippines. On Sunday in San Juan, they won the deciding third match (pictured in the main photo; spikersturf.ph) of the best-of-three championship series against Savouge Spin Doctors Manila by 3-1 (28-26, 25-17, 26-28, 25-23). AEP Cabstars Cabuyao celebrated the bronze medals. King Crunchers’ 27-year-old opposite Jude Garcia was chosen MVP of the Conference.
QATAR
Police Doha triumphed in Qatar’s Emir Cup men’s volleyball competition for the second time in the club’s history. The eight-team knockout tournament in Doha peaked with the final last Wednesday, April 15, in which Police achieved a 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-23) shutout of Al Arabi Doha.
SWEDEN
Hylte Halmstad triumphed as Sweden’s men’s volleyball champions for the 13th time. In the best-of-five championship series against Floby, they got the job done in three matches, dropping only a set along the way, in Saturday’s third game, which they played at home and won by 3-1 (21-25, 25-20, 25-15, 25-17). Orkelljunga won the bronze medals. The league coaches voted Sollentuna’s 29-year-old outside hitter Jakob Molin MVP of the season.
UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
Al Ain conquered the men’s 2026 United Arab Emirates Cup. They hosted Friday’s final against Baniyas Abu Dhabi and earned the trophy with a 3-1 (26-24, 24-26, 25-17, 25-19) victory.
