Top-seeded Simone Vervloet & Lente Thant defeated second-seeded Hannelore Pass & Anke Coopmans by 2-0 (22-20, 21-16) in Sunday’s women’s final at the Torhout stop on the Belgian Beach Tour. In the third-place match, Tes Waegeneers & Lola Bombeke beat Maurine Renard & Fiona Stelma by a dramatic 2-1 (21-16, 14-21, 16-14) to claim the bronze.
The bracket leaders won the men’s competition as well. In the gold medal showdown, Seppe De Keyser & Jente De Keyser battled it out for a 2-1 (21-17, 18-21, 15-12) victory over Arnor Van Leemputten & Bavo Mees. Three sets were needed to resolve the third-place game as well. Kasper Van de Vijver & Daan Lievens put together a 2-1 (21-15, 19-21, 15-10) win over Quentin Pompon & Robin Foret to bring home the bronze.
BULGARIA
The third stop on the 2026 Grifid Masters Beach Volley tour in Bulgaria was held in Shabla. A mixed Bulgarian-Romanian pairing – Darina Kindova & Ioana Andreea Miu – grabbed the women’s trophy. In the final, the bracket leaders produced a 2-0 (21-16, 21-16) shutout of second-seeded Ivet Gavrailova & Antoniya Nikolova. The bronze went to Elitsa Hristova & Svilena Stoyanova, who delivered a 2-0 (21-17, 21-7) upset of third-seeded Stefani Kyoseva & Veronika Ivanova in the third-place playoff.
Top-seeded Boris Georgiev & Alexander Tsanev conquered the men’s trophy in Shabla. They came back from a set down to celebrate a 2-1 (19-21, 23-21, 15-9) turnaround against Martin Yochev & Denislav Dimitrov in the final. Third-seeded Konstantin Stoykov & Atanas Georgiev finished in third place after a 2-0 (21-19, 21-13) sweep of the bronze medal game against Mario Iliev & Aleksandar Kordev.
GREECE
Konstantina Tsopoulou & Mirto Kalamaridou emerged on top of the women’s podium at the Ios stop on the Hellenic Beach Volleyball National Tour in Greece. They achieved a 2-0 (21-19, 21-14) sweep of the final against Spanish wild cards Elba Paez & Daniela Andreu. The third place in the final standings was shared by the two teams that lost the semifinals – Elpida Pitsigkoni & Eleni Chantzi and qualifiers Vasiliki Matiadi & Evangelia Christou.
Antonios Karykas & Dimitrios Kaliozis made it all the way from the qualifications to the men’s gold in Ios. They came back from a set down in the final showdown against Argentinean wild cards Valentino Salema & Ramiro Sancer to pull off a 2-1 (16-21, 26-24, 15-10) victory. Dimitrios Chatzinikolaou & Stavros Ntallas and Panagiotis Semitekolos & Christos Tsigaridas finished jointly in third place.
HUNGARY
The first stop on the 2026 Telekom Beach Volleyball Hungarian Championship tour was held last week in Nyiregyhaza. The first gold of the season went to Karmen Honti-Majoros & Reka Padar. The third-seeded pair in the women’s main draw took a 2-1 (21-12, 10-21, 15-10) victory over Csenge Villam & Eszter Nagy in the final. Second-seeded Chiara Honti-Majoros & Adrienn Posztos-Szabo settled for bronze after a 2-0 (21-13, 21-13) shutout of Adrienn Czene & Luca Szabo for the third place.
Daniel Kiss & Viktor Erik Ban triumphed on top of the men’s podium. They squeezed out a 2-1 (19-21, 21-15, 16-14) win over Marton Udvarhelyi & Marcel Sarik-Veress in the gold medal showdown. Qualifiers Vince Pongracz & Tyson Gabriel Goudie grabbed the bronze medals following a 2-0 (21-19, 21-18) victory over Balazs Ferenc Fazekas & Vilmos Szabo.

Reigning world champions Tina Graudina and Anastasija Samoilova played in Saturday’s women’s final of the Saulkrasti stop on the DEPO Open Latvian Championships national tour, but on the opposite sides of the net. Second-seeded Tina Graudina & Liva Ebere hammered out a 2-0 (21-14, 21-11) upset of the top-seeded mixed Spanish-Latvian pairing of Daniela Alvarez & Anastasija Samoilova. Estonia’s Liisa Remmelg & Heleene Hollas completed the podium after winning the bronze medal match against Lithuania’s Daniele Kvedaraite & Jekaterina Saule by 2-0 (21-15, 21-13).
Edgars Tocs & Gustavs Auzins triumphed in the men’s competition. Top-seeded Emi van Driel & Mila Konink lived up to their ranking at the Almelo stop on the Robijn Quickwash Eredivisie Beach national tour of the Netherlands and won the women’s gold. They mastered a 2-0 (21-18, 21-18) shutout of the mixed Dutch-Paraguayan duo of Lisa Luini & Giuliana Poletti Corrales in the final. In the third-place playoff, Tess Spaansen & Trijntje Veerbeek beat the third-seeded American-Polish combo of Violeta Slabakova & Aleksandra Wachowicz by 2-0 (21-15, 21-9).
The men’s gold was claimed by the bracket leaders as well. Quinten Groenewold & Tom Sonneville won the final against second-seeded Cain van Hal & Mart van Werkhoven by 2-0 (22-20, 21-16). Erik van der Schaaf & Stijn van Tilburg took the bronze. They delivered a 2-0 (22-20, 21-16) victory over Romke Praamstra & Niek Schiphof in the third-place match.
RWANDA
Rwamagana welcomed a stop on the FRVB Beach Volleyball National Tour in Rwanda. While second-seeded Hygette Uwase & Hyacinthe Ingabire beat third-seeded Aline Kayirebwa & Ihoraho Divine by a hard-fought 2-1 (21-19, 17-21, 15-7) in the women’s final, bracket leaders Aliane Nirere & Musabyimana Peneloppe settled for bronze after hammering out a 2-0 (21-5, 21-6) shutout of Leonce Mutuyimana & Patience Masengesho in the third-place playoff.
The top three seeds in the men’s main draw matched the order on the podium. Vincent Mbonigaba & Prince Kanamugire celebrated the gold medals after a 2-0 (21-19, 21-17) victory over Gloire Niyonkuru & Venuste Gatsinzi in the final showdown. In the Presov women’s final on Slovakia’s Nike Summer Beach Tour, top-seeded Eva Nemec Elekova & Andrea Bundzelova defeated second-seeded Ema Matasova & Ema Palkovicova by 2-0 (21-11, 24-22) to lift the trophy. Czechia’s Veronika Grancaiova & Lucie Grancaiova brought home the bronze after upsetting third-seeded Andrea Spevarova & Viktoria Nemlaha in a 2-0 (21-10, 21-9) third-place game.
In an all-Czech men’s final showdown, David Vyoral & Simon Tuma battled it out for a 2-1 (20-22, 21-12, 15-10) comeback victory over compatriots Vojtech Andrs & Krystof Kvicala. The mixed Slovak-Czech pairing of Lubos Nemec & Jan Bercik, the top seed in the men’s main draw, took bronze after a 2-1 (19-21, 23-21, 15-12) turnaround of the third-place match against second-seeded Kamil Pavlinsky & Patrik Marcok.
SWITZERLAND
The women’s gold at the Fribourg stop on Switzerland’s 2026 OBI Beach Tour was conquered by Czech wild cards Michaela Brinkova & Karin Zolnercikova. In a dramatic showdown on Saturday, they came back from a set down against second-seeded Livia Stolz & Nadine Demierre to celebrate a 2-1 (19-21, 24-22, 15-9) victory. Noemi Eugster & Anja Gahwiler took the bronze after a 2-0 (21-12, 21-18) upset of top-seeded Muriel Bossart & Linda Abbuhl in the third-place game.
Chilean wildcards Esteban Grimalt & Marco Grimalt, seeded third in the men’s main draw, brought home gold after a tight 2-0 (30-28, 21-19) final against second-seeded Adrian Heidrich & Yves Haussener. Bracket leaders Jonathan Jordan & Julian Friedli finished in third place. They delivered a 2-0 (21-18, 21-15) win over Constantin Quadt & Michiel Zandbergen in the bronze medal match.
UKRAINE
Khmelnytskyi welcomed last week’s stop on the Ukrainian National Championship Tour. Third-seeded Yeva Serdiuk & Aleksandra Kovalchuk picked up the women’s title. They took a 2-0 (21-17, 21-13) win over Oleksandra Kutniakova & Iryna Nikitchuk in the gold medal match. In the bronze medal match, second-seeded Daria Romaniuk & Anastasiia Boiko put together a 2-0 (21-16, 21-17) upset of bracket leaders Diana Avramenko & Anhelina Khmil.
The men’s crown in Khmelnytskyi went to Anton Moiseiev & Bohdan Romanyshyn. They topped the podium following a 2-1 (21-16, 21-23, 15-11) victory over third-seeded Vitalii Savvin & Mykola Trofymchuk in the final. Artur Gandzii & Ihor Polishchuk completed the podium by winning the bronze medal match against qualifiers Mykyta Luban & Mykola Kuranov by 2-0 (21-11, 21-11).
