How to Become an FIVB International Centre of Excellence
To be recognised within the FIVB International Centres of Excellence framework, training centres must apply through the official FIVB assessment process.
The process is based on a structured survey and a two-step evaluation, allowing FIVB to assess facilities remotely using documentation, photos, and operational information.
Application Process for Centres
- Complete the FIVB International Centre of Excellence Survey
- Submit supporting documentation (facilities, services, staffing, photos)
- FIVB reviews the application and may request additional information
- Centres are classified as:
- High-Performance International Training Centre (Tier 1), or
- International Training Centre (Tier 2)
- Sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FIVB to formalise recognition, roles, and cooperation
