FIVB mourns passing of Ghana Volleyball Association President Paul Atchoe

Mr Paul Atchoe dedicated much of his life to developing volleyball in Ghana

The FIVB is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Ghana Volleyball Association President Paul Atchoe, a true friend to volleyball who dedicated much of his life to developing the sport in Ghana.

A key figure behind the growth of Ghanaian volleyball and beach volleyball, Mr Paul Atchoe was passionate about the sport and worked tirelessly to develop the men’s and women’s senior national teams. He also served as 1st Vice President of the Ghana Olympic Committee and was previously the President of Zone 3 of the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB).

The FIVB and the global Volleyball Family extends its deepest condolences to the Ghanaian volleyball community and Mr Paul Atchoe’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
