FIVB President meets organisers of Goa’s first-ever Beach Pro Tour Challenge event

The Beach Pro Tour Challenge event is secured in Goa for the 2023 and 2024 seasons

FIVB President Dr Ary S. Graça F° today welcomed the organisers of the Beach Pro Tour Challenge event in Goa to the FIVB Headquarters, with the Goa delegation led by Martin Sudhakar, a beach volleyball promoter and owner of the Marina Beach Sports Club.

The FIVB President was joined at the meeting by FIVB General Director Fabio Azevedo, Volleyball World CEO Finn Taylor and FIVB Head of Beach Volleyball Department Yu Cao, while the Goa delegation also included Ravikanth Reddy (co-owner of the Marina Beach Sports Club), Karnae Prabakar and Mohamed Akramkhan.

The discussions focused on Goa hosting Beach Pro Tour Challenge events in 2023 and 2024 as part of a recently announced multi-year agreement to bring the tour to the stunning sands of Varca Beach in Goa. This year’s event, scheduled for 19-22 October this year, will mark the tour’s first-ever stop in India.

Following the meeting, the FIVB President said:
