FIVB President addresses the FIPAV Board of Administration in Rome
FIVB President Dr Ary S. Graça F° yesterday addressed the Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV) Board of Administration, chaired by FIPAV President Giuseppe Manfredi. Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) President Giovanni Malagò, European Volleyball Federation (CEV) President Aleksandar Boričić and Senior Vice-President Renato Arena joint the meeting.
The FIPAV Board of Administration meeting was held in the FIPAV Headquarters in Rome, Italy during the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships 2022. Speaking at the meeting, the FIVB President addressed the latest changes within the FIVB, including the innovative partnership with the CVC Capital Partners and the creation of Volleyball World.
The FIVB President also confirmed his commitment to the development of volleyball around the world and praised the FIVB’s strong partnership with FIPAV and Italy, which has hosted many prestigious volleyball events.
The FIVB President said:
“Italy has an amazing history and tradition both in volleyball and beach volleyball. With strong national teams across both disciplines, passionate fanbases and great hosting credentials, your country and your National Federation are among the strongest partners of the FIVB. We all remember very well the latest events hosted across Italy, including the Volleyball Nations League (VNL), Volleyball Men’s World Championship 2018, Beach Volleyball World Tour Finals and now the Beach Volleyball World Championships. All the top events have been here in Italy!”
The FIVB President continued by stating the importance of the global Volleyball Family continuing to work closely together for the benefit of the sport and its development around the word by saying:
“By working together as one united family, we can build a lasting legacy for volleyball. We can ensure that the next chapter of volleyball’s history around the world, in Europe and here in Italy, is the greatest chapter of all!”
