Sebastian Świderski elected as Polish Volleyball Federation President

The new president will lead the National Federation for the next four years

The Electoral Assembly of the Polish Volleyball Federation (PZPS) has elected Sebastian Świderski as the President of the PZPS Management Board for the 2021-2025 term as he obtained 88 votes while 2 delegates abstained.

Świderski is a well-known former volleyball player who played 322 matches for the Poland men’s national team between 1996 and 2011. He won gold in the FIVB U21 World Championship in 1997 and at the European U21 Championship in 1996. He also secured silver at the FIVB Volleyball World Championship 2006, and represented Poland at two Olympic Games.

In addition, the new PZPS President competed for many Polish and foreign volleyball clubs, including Stilon Gorzów, ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, Perugia Volley, Lube Banca Macerata and again ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle. He also has extensive coaching and successful volleyball club administration experience.
