SUMMARY

The FIVB Volleyball Empowerment is a part of FIVB President Dr. Ary Graça’s Nucleus plan, to mark a new era of volleyball development around the world.

FIVB President Dr. Ary Graça’s trulybelieve that we must empower and improve the technical level of national teams and athletes to provide them with the skills to play at the highest level. And in the future, participate in major events like World Championships and the Olympic Games, showcasing great performance.

Through Volleyball Empowerment, FIVB will help national teams and athletes reach their full potential and achieve their goals. This would be a win-win situation for all of us.

Because the more we can spread volleyball across the world, the more we can increase the number and level of national teams participating in our main events. And this will increase the relevance of volleyball worldwide, making it more popular than ever before.

Volleyball Empowerment consists of two key areas of support:

  • Targeted support

  • Application-based support

A strong national team participating in, and winning, big competitions will become role models for the younger generations, creating volleyball fans for life.  And this is so important, because sport has the power to transform lives and create a better world where everyone belongs.

National Federation with a strong national team will be more attractive to sponsors, media, TV and governments. These additional resources will enable National Federation to host more key events, giving your local fans an opportunity to watch the very best of volleyball and beach volleyball live. As a result, National Federation will become self-sustainable with a professional administration onboard.

FIVB is investing in national teams of National Federations category 1-2-3-4 and 5! To ensure that the entire Volleyball Family can move to the next level.
