The President
Fabio Azevedo was elected President of the FIVB on 16 November 2024 at the 39th FIVB World Congress organised in Porto, Portugal. At the Congress, he pledged to serve the Global Volleyball Movement through professionalism, integration, empowerment and mass participation as described in the FIVB Strategic Vision 2032 with the motto “Together as One”.His experience in volleyball administration stretches back more than 30 years. Prior to taking office, Fabio Azevedo served as the General Director of the FIVB for 11 years and previously for almost 20 years managing the Brazilian Volleyball Federation (CBV).
