This Instagram prize draw is organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball, an association with headquarters at Château Les Tourelles, Edouard-Sandoz 2-4, 1006 Lausanne, Switzerland (“FIVB” or the “Organizer”).

This promotion is a promotional prize draw. No purchase, payment, or other financial contribution is necessary to enter or win.

Participation in the prize draw constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).

The prize draw is open to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.

The prize draw is void where prohibited or restricted by the applicable law. The Organizer reserves the right to exclude entries from jurisdictions where the promotion would be unlawful or would require registration, licensing, approval or any other formality not completed by the Organizer.

Employees, representatives, consultants of the Organizer, Volleyball World, the FIVB Volleyball Foundation, and any entity directly involved in the organization, administration, or promotion of the prize draw, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.

Participants must enter using an authentic, personal Instagram account. Entries submitted using fake, duplicate, fraudulent, bot, automated, commercial, or inactive accounts may be disqualified at the Organizer’s sole discretion.

The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant and to request proof of age, identity, Instagram account ownership, and any other information reasonably required to confirm eligibility.

The overall World Volleyball Day prize draw campaign will run from 10 June to 8 July (“Campaign Period”).

Each individual prize draw forming part of the Campaign Period will open and close on the dates and times specified in the relevant Instagram post or related promotional communication (“Entry Period”).

Entries received before or after the Entry Period for the relevant prize draw will not be valid and will not be considered.

To enter, participants must, during the applicable Entry Period:

1. Follow the official Instagram accounts of the FIVB, the FIVB Volleyball Foundation, and Volleyball World, namely @fivb, @volleyballworld, @volleyball.foundation;
2. Complete the action or actions specified in the relevant Instagram prize draw post, which may include liking the post, commenting, tagging another Instagram user, sharing the post, or using official hashtags; and
3. Ensure that their Instagram account is set to public for the full duration of the applicable Entry Period and until the winner of the relevant prize draw has been selected and verified.

Entries from private accounts may not be visible to the Organizer and may therefore be deemed invalid.

Participants must not tag individuals inaccurately or encourage inaccurate tagging. Any tagging must comply with Instagram’s applicable rules and community standards.

Entries generated by script, macro, bot, automated means, or any other method that undermines the integrity of the prize draw are void.

For each individual prize draw, the winner will be selected at random from all valid and eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period. The random draw for each individual prize draw will take place on the date and time specified in the relevant Instagram post or related communication.

The potential winner will be notified by direct message from the official FIVB Instagram account and may also be announced through FIVB’s official communication channels.

The potential winner must respond within 24 hours of notification and provide all information and documentation reasonably requested by the Organizer, which may include proof of identity, proof of age, contact details, and passport details.

If the potential winner:

1. Does not respond within the required timeframe;
2. Is found to be ineligible;
3. Fails to provide the requested documentation;
4. Declines the prize;
5. Cannot be contacted; or
6. Is unable to accept or use the prize for any reason,

the Organizer may disqualify that potential winner and select an alternate winner from the remaining valid and eligible entries.

A potential winner is not confirmed as the winner unless and until eligibility has been verified by the Organizer. The Organizer’s decision regarding the selection of the winner, eligibility, validity of entries and all other matters relating to the prize draw is final, subject to applicable law.

The prize applicable to each individual prize draw will be the prize described in the relevant Instagram post or related promotional communication.

Where the relevant Instagram post or related promotional communication states that the prize is the travel prize, the prize shall consist of a seven (7) day trip for one person to one FIVB event, including the items expressly listed below.

The winner may choose between:

1. The 2026 Women’s Volleyball Nations League Finals in Macau, China; or
2. The 2026 Men’s Volleyball Nations League Finals in Ningbo, China.

The prize includes:

1. One economy-class round-trip air ticket, from an airport determined by the Organizer;
2. Accommodation in a four-star hotel or equivalent, as selected by the Organizer;
3. Meals during the trip, as determined by the Organizer;
4. Local transportation related to the event itinerary, as determined by the Organizer;
5. Match tickets for selected matches, as determined by the Organizer, and
6. A venue tour or behind-the-scenes tour, as determined by the Organizer, subject to availability and operational feasibility.

The prize does not include, unless expressly stated otherwise:

1. Passport, visa, immigration, or vaccination costs;
2. Travel insurance, medical insurance, or health-related expenses;
3. Additional meals, beverages, room service, minibar, laundry, telephone, internet, or hotel incidentals;
4. Upgrades, changes, or extensions to travel arrangements;
5. Personal expenses or spending money;
6. Taxes, duties, or other governmental charges; or
7. Any other costs not expressly listed as included.

The winner is solely responsible for ensuring that they hold a valid passport, obtain any required visa or travel authorization, comply with all entry, immigration, health, customs, and security requirements, and are legally able to travel to and enter the relevant destinations.

If the winner is unable to obtain a visa or other required travel authorization to enter China in time for either 2026 event, the Organizer may, at its sole discretion, allow the winner to select one preliminary round stop or one Finals event of the 2027 Women’s or Men’s Volleyball Nations League, subject to availability, confirmation of locations, operational feasibility, and applicable travel requirements.

No compensation will be provided if the winner is unable to travel, unable to attend the event, refused entry into any country, denied boarding, delayed, or otherwise unable to use all or part of the prize for reasons outside the Organizer’s control.

Where applicable, additional prizes may include signed volleyballs, Paris artworks, or a one-year VBTV subscription or any other prizes described in the relevant Instagram post or related promotional communication.

Physical prizes will be shipped by or on behalf of the Organizer to the address provided by the winner. The Organizer is not responsible for any national, regional, or local custom duties, taxes, import charges, handling fees, or similar costs required for the winner to receive such items.

Digital prizes, including a VBTV subscription, will be delivered electronically to the email address provided by the winner.

Where the prize consists of a VBTV subscription, the prize is subject to VBTV’s applicable terms of use, technical requirements, availability and territorial restrictions. VBTV is not available in Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand or Vietnam. If a winner is located in a territory where VBTV is unavailable or blocked, the Organizer may, at its sole discretion and where reasonably practicable, offer an alternative prize of equal value.

The Organizer is not responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated contact details provided by the winner.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be redeemed for cash or any other alternative.

Each winner may be responsible for any taxes, duties, social charges, reporting obligations, or other costs arising from acceptance or use of the prize, in accordance with applicable laws.

The Organizer reserves the right to substitute any prize, or any part of a prize, with another prize of equal or greater value if necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Subject to applicable law, by accepting the prize, the winner agrees that the Organizer may announce the winner’s first name, surname, Instagram handle, and/or prize won for the purpose of administering and promoting the prize draw.

The Organizer may request the winner’s consent to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the prize draw and the event, including photographs, video, interviews, and social media content. Any such use will be subject to applicable law and any required consent.

Where entry requires a comment, post, story, tag, hashtag, photograph, video, caption, or other content, each participant warrants that their entry:

1. Is original to them or that they have all necessary rights and permissions to submit it;
2. Does not infringe any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party;
3. Is not defamatory, obscene, offensive, discriminatory, unlawful, or otherwise inappropriate; and
4. Complies with Instagram’s applicable terms, policies, and community standards.

The Organizer may remove, disregard, or disqualify any entry that it considers, in its sole discretion, to be inappropriate, unlawful, infringing, offensive, fraudulent, or inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions or the Values of the Organizer.

The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

1. Does not comply with these Terms and Conditions;
2. Provides false, misleading, incomplete, or fraudulent information;
3. Uses fake, duplicate, automated, bot, inactive, or fraudulent accounts;
4. Attempts to manipulate, tamper with, or undermine the operation or fairness of the prize draw;
5. Acts in an abusive, threatening, offensive, or inappropriate manner;
6. Otherwise engages in conduct that may damage the reputation of the Organizer, Volleyball World, the FIVB Volleyball Foundation, Instagram, or the sport of volleyball.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Organizer shall not be liable for:

1. Entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted, inaccessible, or not received;
2. Technical, network, platform, software, hardware, or account-setting issues, including private Instagram accounts;
3. Errors, interruption, delays, or failures affecting Instagram or any other platform;
4. Any loss, damage, injury, illness, accident, delay, cancellation, or expense arising from participation in the prize draw or acceptance, use, misuse, or non-use of any prize; or
5. Any event beyond the Organizer’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the prize draw, or to amend these Terms and Conditions, where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including technical failures, fraud, security issues, legal or regulatory requirements, public health restrictions, travel restrictions, event cancellation, force majeure, or any other circumstances that affect the proper administration, security, fairness, or integrity of the prize draw.

The Organizer will process personal data provided by participants and winners for the purposes of administering the prize draw, verifying eligibility, contacting and announcing the winner, delivering the prizes, complying with legal obligations, and, where applicable, organizing travel and event attendance.

Personal data processed may include name, Instagram handle, age or date of birth, country of residence, contact details, address, passport or travel information, identification documents and any other information reasonably required to administer the prize draw and award the prize.

Personal data may be shared with the Organizer’s affiliates, service providers, travel providers, event partners, and prize suppliers for the administration of the prize draw and delivery of the prize.

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including, where applicable, Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation, and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. 

Participants may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability, as applicable. Requests may be submitted to [email protected].

By entering, each participant fully releases Instagram from any and all liability arising out of or in connection with the prize draw.

Participants understand that they are providing their information to the Organizer and not to Instagram.

These terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland.

Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of in connection with these Terms and Conditions and/or the prize draw shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Lausanne, Switzerland.
