Volleyball player Kamila Witkowska was suspended with eight (8) months of ineligibility commencing on 6 May 2025 for anti-doping rule violation.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport partially upheld the appeal filed by the FIVB and amended the decision of the Polish Anti-Doping Agency (POLADA) Disciplinary Panel of First Instance. The prohibited substance canrenone was found in her sample taken during out-of-competition test on 26 April 2024 in violation of Article 2.2 of the FIVB Medical and Anti-Doping Regulations applicable at the time.
The FIVB is committed to protecting clean athletes and maintains a zero-tolerance approach to doping.
