The 2026 AVC Beach Volleyball Continental Championships will take place in Shangluo, China, from 2-6 September 2026, bringing together teams from across Asia and Oceania to compete for the continental titles as part of the competition calendar towards LA28.
The tournament will be organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation in partnership with Volleyball World and will be staged in the city of Shangluo in China’s Shaanxi province.
The AVC Beach Volleyball Continental Championships are among the confederation’s principal competitions in the discipline and regularly attract leading teams from across the region.
Beach volleyball activity across Asia and Oceania has expanded in recent seasons. In 2025, 48 national federations took part in 29 AVC and FIVB beach volleyball events, reflecting growing participation and an increasingly active competition calendar.
The scale of competition highlights the role of AVC events in providing opportunities for national teams to compete at regional, continental and international levels.
The 2026 AVC Beach Volleyball Continental Championships will continue that competition cycle and will serve as a major continental event as teams prepare for upcoming international tournaments in the lead up to LA28.
